Confirming Your Email Address
We ask for a valid email address when you sign up for an account on this website. In order to confirm that you've entered the correct email address and can indeed access messages sent to that address, we will ask you to verify that the email address belongs to you. Verifying your email is not required for using your account, but it is helpful in case we ever need to reach you through email, such as if you ever need to reset your password.
A confirmation link is sent to your email address when you sign up for a new account and anytime you change your email address. You'll need to log into your email account to fetch the confirmation link.
The confirmation link is sent through an automated system and it is sent immediately, though there might be a lag when the email actually arrives in your inbox depending on your email service provider. You may want to check your Spam folder if you don't see it in your inbox. The confirmation email is sent from support@kidsbookseries.com and you can try adding this address to your contact list to prevent our emails from ending up in your Spam folder.
If you do not receive the email confirmation link, you can ask for it to be re-sent to you by re-entering your email address (in case you mispelled it the first time). To do this, first log in with your username and password, then go to your account page which you won't be able to access until you confirm your email address, and that will take you to the email confirmation page.
Please note that some email service providers will block certain automated email messages. If our records show that you've requested the email confirmation link multiple times but still haven't confirmed your email address yet, we'll assume that you're having trouble receiving our automated email messages, and we'll send you a new confirmation email by hand.
If all else fails, please feel free to send an email to support@kidsbookseries.com to ask us to confirm your email address in the system manually. You must send the email from the email address you wish to confirm, and include your KidsBookSeries username in the email message. We will generally try to respond to these confirmation requests within a few hours on weekdays, slightly longer at night and on weekends.
